An eContext client recently pulled data from social posts, app purchases, website visits, customer surveys, and other key data trends to help a coffee company answer the question: Who is most likely to order an iced coffee, and what time of day are they most likely to want one?
eContext’s API made normalizing all the disparate data an easy task for the team, and viewing the data in the eContext classification tree helped the firm identify key trends that they may not have seen with a shallower taxonomy. Digging down 20 tiers into the eContext taxonomy helped the team identify not only gender differences in coffee preference, but regional and local trends, as well as insights on success of push notifications through apps.
